Description
Sizergh Castle is set against the rolling hills of the Lake District, loved by Turner, who painted this far-flung part of England. During the several hundred years of the border wars between the local inhabitants and their Scottish counterparts on the other side, the castle was built to protect the owners from reavers who would relentlessly pillage the local area. The fortifications were designed well and, 800 years later, the family still lives in this beautiful castle surrounded by majestic rock gardens and landscaped parks.
The Sizergh picnic blanket has a water proof liner on the underside. It easily folds into a light and portable shape with handles that is easy to carry and store.
