Mock Jacobean (Victorian) Chest

April 14, 2015 10:43 pm Published by Leave your thoughts

$900.00 inc. VAT

This Victorian-era mock Jacobean chest has an old English charm and is both a good item for storage as well as being aesthetically pleasing. It is made from old English oak, which is both lighter in colour and denser than the American variety when originally sawn. It darkens with age and use, however, the time-blackened effect is a staple of old woods and Jacobean furniture.

The owner is sending a container to the UK on the 14th of April, and would then expect to either charge for delivery to the UK or allow for it to be picked up from the port. For the US, shipping is difficult to cost in advance, but will be a maximum of $1,250. Canada is $650. The final cost should be much less than this because the item is relatively small.
Please, also remember that US customs may delay receipt of the goods for an unspecified period of time without an explicit reason, so if you are buying this as an interior designer for your client we would recommend that you allow an extra week for lead time.
